Business by the Numbers

Data is both a blessing and a curse. It’s the self-fulfilling prophecy of modern converged communications. The more data you have, the more you use and the more you need.

But data is a funny thing. Like a fuel it has a footprint, which needs to be managed, as it represents your investment and your legacy in ones and zeroes.

So, what do you do with it? Do you archive it – stick it somewhere and forget about it? Do you delete it, to save space perhaps? Or do you study it?

It may seem strange by modern standards, but that last one is a reasonably new idea. Quite simply, the systems that collate information and permit you to interrogate it easily have only come into existence recently. Many now see that the secrets of business success now lie within the clandestine, eldritch art of data analysis.

How do you begin this process? The good news is you don’t have to do anything special to get data other than just run your business. Every email, IM, phone call, ticket, quote, query – they all generate information. What you need now is a method of recording this data and then displaying it in a way you can interpret.

Fortunately, for the communications side of things, GT have the answer. Our call centre applications can turn your inbound and outbound traffic into useable metrics that can demonstrate trends in your business. These trends lead to change and change is a precursor to growth.

Those who don’t change risk stagnating and, in this era of disruption, will be forgotten when consumers look to the solutions of the future.

So, turn to GT and let us show you the way. Genuine Telecoms.
