June at GT
It’s the start of another month and somehow, we’re already more than halfway through the year. Although we’re really not sure where the time has gone, it’s the perfect opportunity to reflect on what the team got up to in the past few weeks.
From award ceremonies to the launch of a new website, not to mention World Cup fever hitting the office (is it over yet?!), June was certainly a busy month for GT. Here’s a taster of what we got up to:
Launching our new website
We’ve spent the last few months working closely with the team at WebBox on the design and development of our brand-spanking-new website and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. We love its fresh, clean feel and we hope you do too! If you haven’t already, take a look and let us know what you think.
Adding a new string to our bow
At GT, we pride ourselves on continuing to offer the latest technology products so, we’re pleased to announce we’ve strengthened our offering with our own branded hosted telephony platform. By combining the essential features of an office-based telephone system with the increased efficiency of the cloud, it promises to revolutionise your business communications.
Cardiff Business Awards
The team attended the Cardiff Business Awards as finalists for SME of the Year. We may not have come away with top spot, but we had an awesome evening and we promise we’ll be back for more next year.
Visiting the Volvo Ocean Race
In June, the Volvo Ocean Race pitched up their stopover village at the Cardiff Bay Barrage and we couldn’t wait to head down to see what all the fuss was about. With plenty of entertainment, delicious food stalls and all things nautical, we weren’t disappointed.
Highlights included the #PassOnPlastic campaign, complete with 10-metre whale made entirely from single use plastic recovered from our oceans and beaches.
World Cup office takeover
World Cup fever has gripped the nation (and our office) once again. We’ve honoured the occasion in the only way we knew how; by decking the office with flags of world and taking part in the obligatory sweepstake. Although, having drawn Switzerland I’m not holding my breath for a big win.
Keep your eyes peeled to find out what we get up to next month!
