So, we thought we’d take the opportunity to introduce you to the latest of our new recruits; Tech Support Assistance, Paul and Credit Controller, Louise.


Paul Rees-Williams

What are your main responsibilities?

Working as part of the Help Desk team, I act as the initial point of contact for our customers. I provide first line technical support with both hardware and software queries, troubleshooting problems with customers over the phone and determining how to escalate them with our team of in-house engineers. Managing customer expectations is also a large part of my role, and it’s my priority to keep them informed of the status of their reported issue.

What is your favourite element of the job?

I’m passionate about helping our customers and do my best to ensure they are always left satisfied by troubleshooting or escalating their problems as efficiently as possible.

What do you like most about being part of Glamorgan Telecom?

There is always a relaxed, fun atmosphere around the office and the team are friendly, helpful and always supportive whenever I have a question or query. Coffee is also on tap!

What do you get up to outside of work?

Outside of the office I enjoy spending time in the great outdoors with my family, we can often be found taking long walks with our dog or camping in Pembrokeshire. I also like to keep up with new technology and even repair and upgrade computers in my spare time.
