Lawray Architects specialises in bespoke, large-scale builds designed to complement their natural surroundings. Established in 1974 and with three offices in Cardiff, Wrexham and London, they provide a variety of architectural, construction, health and safety and building information management services within the construction industry.
Lawray recognised a need to modernise, rationalise, simplify and better integrate their business telephone system. Streamlining their services was highlighted as a top priority in order to increase efficiency, improve service delivery and develop internal communications across their multiple sites.
To install new fibre cables, associated routers and SIP trunks with ISDN backup lines
To install leased lines in both the Cardiff and Wrexham offices as well Fibre to the Premises
To install a SIP solution with VoIP handsets to reduce cabling
To separate voice and data across the leased lines to eliminate interference
To install a new telephone system with call management software to monitor incoming and outbound calls
Glamorgan Telecom have revolutionised Lawray's telecoms infrastructure to deliver improved resilience and efficiency. All three of Lawray's office locations are now interconnected via a faster SIP phone system and future-proofed for upgrade. The installation of leased lines has increased internet speeds to allow for a more dynamic style of working, enabling staff to collaborate on projects and work remotely, if necessary. Lawray now has the ability to compete for jobs at a higher level whilst improving customer service and profitabilty.
"We have developed a strong interpersonal relationship with Glamorgan Telecom as they have enabled us to completely restructure our voice and data infrastructure. Both Paula Gilbert and Andy Brown have been extremely helpful and advisory throughout the process, especially their pre-sales and after-sales support and directorial management. Their response times are excellent and they are easy to contact, ensuring minimum disruption for our business."John Evans, IT Manager
