An existing BT phone system, consisting of just six handsets and five extensions, was limiting the productivity and flexibility of the school. Improving communications through the installation of additional classroom handsets was a priority to enable the efficient interaction of staff, pupils and parents. Also highlighted was the need for a call recording and reporting solution to actively manage call handling whilst providing essential security and stability.
To install a new phone system and increase capacity to encompass a variety of smart features

Working closely with Rhiwbeina Primary, Glamorgan Telecom were able to develop and deploy a new telephone system to increase both productivity and flexibility across the school. The inclusion of additional handsets has enabled teaching staff to communicate without the need to leave classrooms, improving pupil safety and minimising disruption at the same time. Senior staff also benefit from a variety of call management solutions, improving the efficiency of both internal and external communications.
